Camp Ascot Park was an extension of the code breaking facilities based at "Nyrambla" house, 21 Henry Street, Ascot. Troops stationed there, such as the Special Intelligence Service, were barracked at the adjacent Camp Ascot within Ascot (Eagle Farm) Racecourse.

Camp Ascot Park was established in late 1943, as an extension of the Central Bureau code breaking organisation which had their headquarters at "Nyrambla" house, 21 Henry Street, Ascot. The park, which would later become the members parking area for the adjacent Eagle Farm Racecourse, was guarded by two guard houses and a high fence. Two US Army and two Australian army sentries guarded Ascot Park’s main gates. In October 1943 the camp contained 17 rectangular office buildings, a canteen and latrine block.
