Memorial information

Description

The 25th Battalion, Australian Imperial Force (AIF), was predominantly recruited in Queensland and also included men from Darwin. It was attached to the 7th Brigade, and served at Gallipoli and on the Western Front throughout France. They suffered the highest casualty rate of any Australian battalion during WWI.
