A memorial dedicated to the United States Air Force and the Royal Australian Air Force who served at Garbutt during WWII. The plaque is black metal with gold print and trim.

THEY GAVE US CONTINUED FREEDOM
DEDICATED TO MEMBERS OF USAAF AND RAAF WHO SERVED AT THIS AIRFIELD AND OTHERS IN THIS AREA DURING WORLD WAR II 1939 - 1945.
