Description

Large brass plaque in a wooden frame, mounted high on the wall to the left of the main entrance to the dining room. The Honour Board recognises the sacrifice of men from the college who fell in World War I and II and displays the names of 5 individuals from the Great War and 9 names from the war of 1939–1945. The college dining room was erected to recognise the former and the chapel erected to recognise the latter group.

Inscription

TO THE MEMORY OF THE COLLEGE MEN WHO FELL IN WORLD WAR I. IN HONOUR OF WHOM THE DINING HALL WAS ERECTED & TO THE MEMORY OF THE COLLEGE MEN WHO FELL IN WORLD WAR II IN HONOUR OF WHOM THE CHAPEL WAS ERECTED.

There is an inscription in Greek on the bottom left under the lists of names and another in English (translation) reading THEY DIED BUT ARE NOT DEAD
