Description

World War II Memorial gates, constructed of red brick posts and a wrought iron gates. Each post has a black granite plate listing the names of 80 service personnel from Eton and surrounding district who served in WWII. The names are listed according to Service:-
R.A.N. 1 individual;
A.I.F. 50 individuals (1 awarded a Military Medal; 2 Killed in Action; 4 died as Prisoner of War);
R.A.A.F. 23 individuals (2 Killed in Action; 1 Accidently Killed);
A.A.M.W.S. - 1 individual;
A.A.N.S. - 1 individual;
A.M.F. - 4 individuals.
