Memorial information
Description
The Gargett Memorial Gates underwent an upgrade from the original concrete form work and wrought iron gates, displaying plaques to WWI and WWII service personnel. Possibly built post WW2. The gates have been located further west since 2000. The gates honour individuals from the district from WWI - 65 (11 Killed) and WWII 73 (6 Killed), which are listed in two Rolls of Honour on the front of the new memorial. There are two additional plaques on the memorial, one to the memory of those in post-war conflicts and a dedication plaque. A flag pole is located behind the gates.
