Description

A Memorial School of Arts building, dedicated to the memory of 23 young men from the Kumbia District who made the supreme sacrifice in the First World War 1914 - 1918. The recognition of this sacrifice is displayed on an Honour Stone, located at the front entrance of the building. The Stone consists of a vertical marble slab, set atop a three step plinth. The slab is inscribed. The School of Arts also contains commemorative and memorial elements including two significant Honour Boards to WWI and WWII individuals from the district.
