In memory of Flight Lieutenant Frank Longford of Sydney and Flight Lieutenant Douglas Batzloff of Toowoomba who died in the crash of an RAAF Mosquito Reconnaissance Airdraft at Saddle Mountain, Cromarty on 25 March 1947. Their families and friends, the RAAF and the Cromarty community will never forget them. Australia is fortunate to have such such fine young men serve their nation. Their names will live forever. Located by Bob Hall, Dan McAllister and Claude Hall of Cromarty on 31 March 1947.
