Memorial information

Description

A stone memorial with black polished panels on each side and on the top and three metal plaques inserted at the front. This memorial is positioned under a metal arch. Flagpoles sit either side of the memorial.

Inscription

Metal Arch: LEST WE FORGET 1914-18 1939-45. NAMES OF WAR CAMPAIGNS ARE LISTED ON EITHER SIDE OF THE ARCH.

Top Metal plaque reads: In memory of fallen comrades, 1914-18 and 1939-45. Erected by Palmwoods Sub-Branch R.S.S.A.I.L.A. 1955 AD

Middle plaque reads: In memory of fallen Palmwoods and Districts R.S.S.A.I.L.A. Korea, Malaysia, Borneo, Vietnam

Bottom plaque reads: PALMWOODS REMEMBERS 1945 - 1995
