Memorial information
Description
This memorial has outstanding significance as the only one of its type in Queensland and an all encompassing tribute to ex-service personnel. It consists of sculptured concrete slabs and flagpole and is set on a concrete surround. The heads depicted are a sailor, soldier - with real Rising Sun badge set into the upturned slouch hat, pilot with appropriate helmet, and a woman service person.
Inscription
The memorial reads:
The people of the Moreton Shire pay tribute to those members of the Armed Forces who served honourably in all wars and campaigns.
The lower plaque gives unveiling and dedication details
