Vietnam War

The 6th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment (6 RAR) was raised in Brisbane on 6 June 1965 and was deployed to South Vietnam where they served two tours. They were situated at Nui Dat in Phuoc Tuy province and took part in the Battle of Long Tan in August 1966. &nbsp;The 6 RAR has also served in East Timor, Iraq and Afghanistan. &nbsp;
