Memorial information

Description

The Memorial Pavilion is located behind the St George hospital. It is an open rectangle structure on three sides, with seating at one end facing the internal Honour Board. There are a series of Honour Boards and plaques, both internal and external, dedicated to the memory of individuals from the Region who have served their country in times of conflict. There are also twin lamps of remembrance located at the top corners closest to the hospital.

Plaques facing the hospital reads: Greater love hath no man, listing 30 names, World War I; Greater love hath no man, listing 24 names, World War II; 1 name Korea; and 1 name Vietnam are on the small dark lower plaques.
