Description
The World War II memorial was the Surat water supply, and brass plates embossed with Australian wild flowers are at the entrance to the Memorial Park. WWI. Memorial gates dedicated to the memory of the men who lost their lives in WWII. The gate has an arch that displays the Surat Memorial Park sign in metalwork.
Inscription
The plate on the left reads: The Town Water Supply has been dedicated by the people of Surat and district to the men who lost their lives in the Second World War. The second plaque on the gate honours a local citizen.
