Toogoolawah War Memorial

It is an elaborate sandstone obelisk standing on a stepped base of concrete and rock-faced sandstone. The pedestal has recessed marble plates bearing the leaded names of 197 local men who served in WWI, including the 28 fallen. A metal plate recording the 15 who fell in WWII has been added later to the pedestal. The entablature has egg and dart ornament. An obelisk rises above a cornice with gables bearing leaf ornament. At the front base of the obelisk are a wreath and the inscription.
