Memorial information

Description

A tri-column memorial, supporting the central feature of a tri-strut propellar from a Boston A20 Aircraft which saw service in New Guinea during the Second World War. The Royal Australian Air Force memorial is dedicated to the men and women of the RAAF who have served and in many cases, made the supreme sacrifice in the service of their country.

Erected by the Royal Australian Air Force Association (Toowoomba Branch) and dedicated on 15 September 2007, the memorial features bronze plaques applied to polished granite blocks. The whole structure is set upon a concrete base.
