Memorial information
Description
Concrete cairn memorial covered with marble facade. The bronze dedication plaque, that is recessed into the front face of the memorial, is twinned with a smaller plaque, located on a brick base. The cairn is located on a paved space that links the memorial to the main WWI memorial.
A flag pole attached to the rear of the WWII memorial, assist with Anzac Day ceremonies. The entire memorial precinct, within the traffic island in Lutwyche Road, is a combination of the past and present, whilst maintaining the commemoraticve elements.
