Description

The dark grey stone obelisk memorial is in memory of those from the district who served at various conflicts. The memorial has a plinth with column on top, set on a four stepped concrete base.

IN HONOUR OF THE 518 MEN AND WOMEN OF THIS DISTRICT WHO SERVED IN THE GREAT WAR 1914- 1918
AND
IN MEMORY OF THE FALLEN
WHOSE NAMES ARE ENGRAVED HEREON
THEIR NAME LIVETH FOR EVERMORE

AND IN THE MEMORY OF THE FALLEN 1939 -1945
