Memorial information
Description
The broken column with laurel wreath around the top and an Australian Commonwealth Military Forces badge at the base. The column is supported by four carved pillars, supported by a sandstone base on a large block of concrete. The Memorial Park is opposite the Post Office, at the end of the main street, and the road circles the Park. There is a flagpole to the right of the memorial.
Inscription
The main plaque (until 25 April 1994) read: They died that we might live, and listed 21 names. Other plaques headed Our Returned listed a total of 45 names for World War I.
The plaques around the base read: Second World War - Killed in Action, listing 12 names in the second and third columns. Names in the first and fourth columns and around the base total 121 returned, including 10 marked Miss.
