Presented in partnership with Queensland Museum

To commemorate Anzac Day, join State Library of Queensland and Queensland Museum professional staff for a special workshop uncovering the stories of Queenslanders who played pivotal roles in World War I.

Drawing on artefacts and personal treasures from both collections, students will explore the lived experiences of Queensland soldiers and nurses through trench art, uniforms, photographs, letters, diaries, and medals, providing a powerful link to stories of bravery, courage, mateship and sacrifice.

Lest we forget.

Workshop notes:

  • This session is delivered via Microsoft Teams.
  • This session is a multi-school event, open to all schools for registration.
  • Bookings for these workshops close 30 minutes before the event.
